App based, on-demand system allows users to exit the vehicle and initiate autonomous parking. The user can request an autonomous pickup, either at the original drop-off location or a pre-determined location. Additionally, the user can monitor the vehicle’s progress via the app and request parked location information. This fusion-based system uses production grade sensors (Surround View, ICON Radar, sonar) to navigate parking lots and has ability to monitor, control and determine location of vehicle utilizing the app and is supported by Magna's powerful L4 Domain Controller.
